A crew of robbers are being sought in connection to 26 stick-ups across Upper Manhattan and the Bronx, cops said Friday.
Police are seeking a total of four men in connection to the spree that covered both the north and south Bronx – as well as the Fort George section of Manhattan – beginning on May 26 and ending on June 2, police said.
In the first incident, shown on surveillance footage released by cops, three of the suspects got out of a black Volkswagen sedan at Wallace and Mace avenues in Allerton around 12:15 a.m. May 26 and approached a 42-year-old man, authorities said.
The clip shows the trio punching the victim and grappling with him. They snatched a Gucci bag and $120 from him before taking off, cops said.
The thieves netted more than $1,000, metal chains, cell phones and a designer bag during their spree, police said.
