South Dakota's Air National Guard has lost another F-16 fighter jet.

The 114 Fighter Wing, based out of Sioux Falls, says a second F-16 went off the runway at the Sioux Falls Airport on Tuesday, May 31st, at around 4:00 p.m.

The pilot was returning from a routine training mission and wasn't hurt.

This is the second such incident in May - a similar accident happened on May 11th.

The Fighter Wing has formed an investigation board to look into this latest incident, as well.
