Unfortunately this press conference makes it official: Uvalde Police held up Border Patrol from taking down Ramos while he continued to kill kids despite 911 calls from the kids to help them. A colossal failure that is only being acknowledged now by Texas DPS

Texas Law Enforcement miss handled the mass shooting in Uvalde so bad that they are now blaming the teachers. Not the fact they delayed stopping the murdered because of their own safety concerns. Instead of protecting children.

Confirmed: Door was FINALLY breached at 12:50pm. Shooter entered school around 11:30am. Commander on scene thought there was no longer a risk to children during that long gap, though active 911 calls seemed to be contradicting that catastrophically wrong judgment.

Briefer says there were as many as 19 officers in the hallway.

The officer just said the suspect was killed at 11:50, but I think he meant 12:50?

After Columbine, you breach immediately with whatever and whomever you have on scene.

The coroner reports will be horrific if it is determined that victim(s) didn't die immediately, and could have been saved if they could have been reached sooner.

Don't forget that US marshals arrived at the scene five minutes before the Border Patrol. So they played a role as well. I seriously doubt that Uvalde Police on their own were able to hold up both US Marshals and the Border Patrol.
