When I saw a picture of the shooter, I thought he looked a lot like the actor Ezra Miller, another transgendered, non-binary person who has had many run-ins with law enforcement recently.

Upthread, CL mentioned the mass murder carried out in a school in Michigan in 1927. The killer used dynamite. Islamoterrorists have killed thousands of people over the decades with weapons other than guns. In 2014 in China, 31 people were killed and 141 wounded by eight people wielding knives. In 2016 in Japan, one man killed 19 and wounded 26 in a knife attack.

It's not the gun. It's the motive and intent.

Well as far as the 1927 attack, that was committed by a disgruntled school board member not a student but I agree with your point which is why I said that kids can and have made bombs from chemicals without needing dynamite, the information has always been out there. Evil will always find a way, but if we are vigilante and proactive we can minimize the risk without stripping more of  our rights and freedoms. We must not give in to fear and give the socialists what they most want.

18 year olds, and younger can walk into a hardware store and legally buy everything they need to make pipe and propane bombs, they can grab a large butcher knife from the kitchen. If someone has made the decision that other's lives as well as their own are worthless they will find a way to kill. This guy could have just as easily broken a gas main at the school and wreaked havoc with an explosion. The gun argument is a red herring to distract everyone from the mental health crisis facing the nation while advancing the communists long term goal of disarming Americans.

Governor Greg Abbott held a press conference on Wednesday morning following the horrific mass shooting in Uvalde, Texas on Tuesday.

A deranged 18-year-old male murdered 19 children and two teachers at an elementary school on Tuesday afternoon.

Governor Abbott was discussing the situation and giving updates when gun-grabber Democrat Beto O’Rourke interrupted the presser.

Uvalde school shooter Salvador Ramos's grandfather has revealed the family had no idea that he legally purchased two AR-15s last week, and described him as a quiet teenager who spent most of his time alone in his room.

Ramos, 18, was shot dead by police yesterday after he killed 19 fourth graders and two teachers at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas.  The gunman's motive remains unclear. He first shot his grandmother in the head at home, then stole her car and drove it to the school, crashing in a ditch before he walked into the classroom and opened fire.

Ramos turned 18 on May 16 and quickly bought two AR-15s and more than three hundred rounds of gun ammunition. They were purchased at the Oasis Outback store in Uvalde,  a 10-minute drive from his grandmother's house.

His grandmother, believed to be 66-year-old Celia Martinez, took him for dinner to Applebee's to celebrate his birthday. On Wednesday morning, her husband Rolando Reyes, 74, told ABC News that neither of them were aware their grandson then bought the guns.

'I didn't know he had weapons. If I'd have known, I would have reported it,' Rolando, who has a past felony conviction and cannot be in a home with firearms, said.

Ramos went to live with his grandparents after arguing with his mother about her cutting out the Wi-Fi in their home. 

Ramos's grandmother survived despite being shot in the head. She is in the hospital.

The shooter's grandfather also revealed that he was quiet, but would sometimes go to work with him.

'Sometimes I'd take him to work with me. Not all the time, but sometimes. This past year he didn't go to school. He didn't graduate. You would try to tell him but kids nowadays they think they know everything.

Schools seem to have no lack of hours when it comes to teaching wokeness, climate change, and other left-wing indoctrination.  Instead of showing high school students Algore's movie in all six classes each year for three years straight, they could devote one of those class times to teaching the Sermon on the Mount.

The parents need to start doing their part, and you would be surprised , or maybe you wouldn't who say we have ALL the responsibility. I can see heaping a good portion on the colleges. They get them 24/7. But if the parents did a better job even that would be minimized.

Paul is one of Mrs. Liberty's newest Precinct Committeemen.  While the shooter was not an illegal, there are photos from his social media wearing dresses.  To me, that's not "trans," but whatever.  The Rats are working OT in a ridiculous effort to beat him, but it's probably the safest Red seat in AZ's Congressional Delegation. 

That's why I decided to retire in his District.  Very Red, Mohave County's Republicans outnumber the Rats 3:1.  I should know, I have the entire Voter Registration database.  I get that quarterly from the County.

I agree with what you say here.  But the current moral decline began in 1962 with Engel v. Vitale.  The City of W'boro held out until 1973 before they were sued over it.  Today, our entire society is wrongly convinced that G-d is banned from school.

I will very adamantly disagree @sneakypete ... The only reason men gather together to form a society at any level is to provide a good environment and safe place for women (to raise children).

A man worth his salt will seek out his own justice, his own safety, and has no real need for the trappings of society... Except the woman. And the children.

When society has become so corrupt that it works against its very purpose - which ours certainly has - It ceases to be... And what is left naturally degrades to Hell on Wheels... The end of the tracks...

Christians have been told for decades that if we don't like what's on, turn the channel. But that only works toward decadence... Now it does not matter where you turn the channel to. It ALL promotes destruction.

And society at large worships it.

And it is precisely what is our doom.
