Former President Obama is encouraging people to participate in nationwide abortion rights protests on Saturday, saying he was “proud” that Americans were standing up for abortion righs.

Protests in Washington, D.C., and across the country are planned on Saturday amid fears that the Supreme Court is about to overturn the Roe v. Wade decision establishing abortion rights in every state. A leaked draft decision obtained by Politico suggests the court will overturn the ruling this summer.

“Across the country, Americans are standing up for abortion rights—and I’m proud of everyone making their voices heard. Join a march near you,” Obama tweeted, including a link to a slew of “Bans Off Our Bodies” protests all over the U.S.

“If you can’t join a march in person today, you can still get involved. Donate to a local abortion fund. Volunteer with activists who’ve been organizing on this issue for years. And vote on or before November 8 and in every election. Take action: http://usow.org/repro/#action,” he added in a follow-up tweet.

Protesters across the country will be taking part in demonstrations on Saturday dubbed “Bans Off Our Bodies,” which have been organized by groups, including Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood Action Fund, Women’s March, MoveOn, and UltraViolet.

Like most Democrats Obama is STUPID. He either doesn't know or doesn't care that he is supporting a program started by a 'real' White Supremacist Margaret Sanger, and her Nazi followers, which had the explicit goal of exterminating all non-White races and Black people in particular. She and her followers would be proud of Obama for supporting them, since Sanger actually wrote that support of people like Obama was imperative for her plan to work.

A New York Times opinion writer urged the pro-abortion activists protesting outside the house of Supreme Court justice Brett Kavanaugh to escalate their illegal protests.

Lindsay Crouse, who earned notoriety after disclosing that her ex-boyfriend is dating Lady Gaga in a 2020 op-ed, said in a May 8 tweet that protesters should target the Chevy Chase Club because that way, she said, their cries "will reach not just Kavanaugh but also Justice Roberts—both are members." She deleted the tweet, but only after it elicited praise from activists who shared the address of the club across the platform.

There is a near consensus among legal experts that targeted protests against federal judges are criminal. A 1950 law expressly prohibits any picketing "with the intent of interfering with, obstructing, or impeding the administration of justice, or with the intent of influencing any judge."

Times guidelines bar staff from "posting anything on social media that damages our reputation for neutrality and fairness."   ...
