Report: Madison Anti-Abortion Headquarters Set on Fire, Vandalized, Graffitied

Jacob Bliss 8 May 2022

The Madison headquarters of Wisconsin Family Action, an anti-abortion group, was reportedly set on fire late Saturday night or early Sunday morning after vandals threw what is believed to be at least one Molotov cocktail at the building.

Two staffers returned to the building for work mid-Sunday morning when they found the windows on one side of the office were shattered while burned books were scattered across the office, according to a report from Wisconsin State Journal.

There was an apparent smell of smoke hours after the fire, which reportedly occurred in the building. The report noted that the building was also riddled with graffiti portraying anti-police slogans and the phrase: “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”

It should REALLY be interesting to see how the authorities treat this one.

I sincerely hope the anti-Abortion crowd jumps all over them with both feet if they don't treat this in the EXACT same manner they treat attacks on abortion clinics.

Fair is fair, bubbas! The goobermint is always ranting and raving about "equality under the law",so let's see them put their money where their mouths are.

It sure would be  a refreshing change of pace, wouldn't it?

‘More of this’: Fire set to Wisconsin anti-abortion office celebrated by reporter
May 9, 2022 | Ashley Hill

A Wisconsin-based pro-life group was targeted on Mother’s Day by someone who reportedly threw a Molotov cocktail into their capitol city office and set the office on fire – which in turn prompted a reporter to wish death on anti-abortion advocates.

Outside of the building that housed the non-profit, the aggressors graffitied the wall in cursive with, “if abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either.”

The attack was presumably in response to the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion that, if approved in its current form, would overturn the 1973 decision Roe v. Wade and unleash the oversight of abortion laws back to the states.

A Wisconsin man was charged Tuesday for allegedly setting fire to the Wisconsin Family Action office in May right after the leak of the U.S. Supreme Court abortion ruling Dobbs v. Jackson.

Reuters reports federal authorities arrested Hridindu Sankar Roychowdhury, 29, in Boston, Massachusetts after they said DNA evidence connected him to the arson attack.

The suspect appears to be a biochemist and former research scientist at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in its Romero Lab. A LinkedIn profile for Roychowdhury says he recently began working at the Promega Corporation, which also is located in Madison, Wisconsin. As an undergraduate student, he also appears to have received an award for outstanding achievement while studying at the New Mexico State University College of Arts and Sciences.

Wisconsin Family Action, a pro-life organization, is located in Madison. On May 8, its office was heavily damaged by fire, and the threat “If abortions aren’t safe then you aren’t either” and other graffiti was spray-painted on several exterior walls. The attack was one of many that targeted pro-life organizations in the wake of the Supreme Court leak. ...
