General Jack Keane believes Putin has become more desperate to hold onto power after a series of embarrassing failures in Ukraine. General Keane warned Fox Business: "He's all about staying in power. That's his motivation. He will do anything to stay in power. He knows full well that a successor who doesn't agree with him could mean his demise. The security bloc of ex-KGB officers are reportedly furious at the Russian leader for failing to take Kyiv and retreating from northern Ukraine. "He has no future beyond him being the president of Russia, that's a fact," Mr Keane added.
