Deep state corruption: Former Obama ambassador charged with illegally lobbying for Qatar

LOS ANGELES, CA- The Daily Caller reports that a former US ambassador in the Obama administration has been charged in connection with engaging in lobbying for the Qatari government and failing to disclose those activities to the U.S. government, according to court filings lodged in March in the Central District of California.
Richard Olson, former ambassador to Pakistan who served from October 2012 to November 2015, as well as a Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan, was cited in government charging documents.
He is accused of illegally lobbying on behalf of the Qatari government. The Daily Caller said he is accused of working to further that country’s interests less than one year after he left service as an ambassador, which is a violation of federal law. ...
