Florida reinstates math textbooks after ‘woke’ content removedBy Selim Algar

Florida education officials have reinstated nine math textbooks after their publishers scrubbed them of “woke” content prohibited by Sunshine State law.
“Publishers are aligning their instructional materials to state standards and removing ‘woke’ content,” read a post on the agency’s website.
Those revisions, officials said, allowed for the use of nine math textbooks that had been initially rejected.
The Department of Education had previously barred the use of 41% of all math textbooks that were proposed for use in the state’s public schools.
