That is the big irony/hypocrisy of the radical White Liberal Democrat American Left.
They have usurped the self appointed position of being the world's babysitters for the unfortunate Black people (who are too stupid to take care of themselves). And yet, they can never bring themselves to say the unmentionable word ... "Black", as if it is a curse of some kind.
We need to stop pretending that the corporate/government term 'diversity' means anything other than 'Black'. Labeling their overt Black racism as "diversity" is intended to mean that it includes 'all' races. No! Not at all. (Diversity = Black People)
No Asians. No Latinos. No Native Americans. No nothing. 'Diversity' is all about radical White Liberal Leftists looking out for their poor pet Black people who they believe cannot make it without them. Nothing more than that. I think everyone is waking up to that reality.
It is because Coca Cola cannot find enough competent black attorneys to make their quota.
I worked once for a Fortune 500 company that went afoul of the Jesse Jackson/Sharpton dictate and hired a NAACP guy for its human resources director.
He pronounced no petroleum engineers would be hired unless they were minorities (read black). Our requirements were to bring in 50 new engineers to work, but only 3 black engineers were even graduating that year in petroleum engineering.
So rather than changing the mix, that racist said we would hire non-petroleum engineers but they had to be black.
So the offers to very qualified engineers from Texas A&M and other top engineering schools could not be made so we could offer positions to blacks who graduated from the absolute weakest engineering schools in the country.
It was devastating to employee morale as well as the company and the company finally went bankrupt and the remains were sold off.
Diversity run amok.
