AOC: ‘We’re in Trouble’ if Democrats Shun Far-Left Base

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has warned that Democrats will be in for a world of trouble in the 2022 midterms if they do not play to the far-left progressive base.

Speaking to New York Magazine, the far-left congresswoman criticized President Joe Biden for his failure to pass the Build Back Better agenda, blaming it on his nostalgia for a bygone political era when deals could be reached over a round of bourbon and cigars.

“I have the utmost respect and confidence in the president, but I just felt like we called two different plays on this one,” said AOC. “I think that there is a sense among more senior members of Congress, who have been around in different political times, that we can get back to this time of buddy-buddy and backslapping.”

“I think there’s a real nostalgia and belief that that time still exists or that we can get back to that,” she added.

AOC voted against the infrastructure bill that Joe Biden signed into law, believing it should have been combined with the failed Build Back Better agenda so that supporters of the infrastructure bill could not split their vote.

I strongly encourage Democrats to take her advice. Don’t be shy. Embrace the far left. Go out and tell voters why defunding the police, inflation, an unsecure border, weakness when it comes to crime, socialism, and critical race theory are wonderful ideas

Most of them agree with her anyways. They just don’t have the guts to say it out loud to the voters

1.  There is always election fraud when democrats have control, and following investigations lynchin trials, cover-ups.

2.   Democrats posture Christianity and being Conservatives to con- the clueless-useful fools.  and they sure are many!

Its not like it hasn't been to great advantage to democrats for DECADES!

So, the Democrats have to steer two possible sources of trouble:  ignoring their far-left woke base they need to power their election campaigns, and ignoring the center of the American political spectrum they need to win elections.  So, which is Scylla and which is Charybdis?

Joe Manchin for one.

Steven Lynch and Bill Keating for others.  They represent districts with more conservative working class ethnic Irish Catholic voters.  Steven Lynch voted against the Affordable Care Act in 2010.

There aren't many moderate or conservative Democrats left.  Many re-registered as independent.
