NYC mayor fires 1,430 city workers over vax mandate including police officers, firefighters, and teachers

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has terminated over 1,400 government workers who refused to get the COVID vaccine as of Monday, including 36 NYPD personnel, 25 Fire Department workers, and 914 Department of Education staffers.
The New York City Housing Authority lost 101 workers who refused to get the jab and 40 Sanitation Department workers were also terminated, according to an agency chart provided by the city.
The mandated deadline was Friday and the number refusing to submit proof of at least one shot has dropped significantly according to City Hall officials. At one point, more than 4,000 employees were set to be fired over noncompliance with the order, according to the New York Post.
Following the extortive deadline, 40 percent of veteran employees, almost 1,000 of them, provided evidence of getting at least one shot in order to hold onto their jobs.
