Kind woman lets homeless man in her home to shower, gets her throat slashed

A homeless man was arrested after allegedly slashing the throat of a Utah woman after she had invited him into her home to use her shower.

Eric Jones, 30, is reported to have been welcomed in by the unidentified resident of Salt Lake City, UT last Sunday. Salt Lake City Detective Michelle Mechling told Fox 13 that it was unclear if the woman knew the man prior to the alleged assault.

Police responded to a call of a “woman bleeding heavily,” according to the SLCPD, and arrived on the scene just before 5 pm to find her with an unspecified neck wound. After administering first aid to the victim, paramedics deemed her to be in critical condition and transported her to a nearby hospital to undergo emergency surgery.

According to the police, “Doctors upgraded the victim’s condition to critical but stable,” and could offer no further updates.

The assailant had fled the scene after the assault and so the onsite commander reached out to detectives to begin an investigation.

“During the investigation, the victim told SLCPD she let the suspect inside her residence so he could shower. The woman described the suspect as being homeless,” the police press release read.

And SanFranshitco wants residents to take in homeless people, what oh what could go wrong! The socialists in charge need to lead by example, most of them have very large homes with plenty of room, let them put their lives and families lives on the line, not to mention their goods and jewelry.

Many homeless are addicts, alcoholics, mentally, criminal fugitives, or illegal immigrants.

A few are actually domestic abuse victims, runaways, disabled, or people who've fallen on hard times.

Some don't want help because they have intentionally "dropped out" of society, aren't ready to give up their addictions, or refuse to take their prescribed pysch meds as directed.

Many don't have the education or the life skills necessary to live as self-sufficient adults.

One way to clear out the homeless for a couple of weeks in Summer is to be the host city for the Democratic National Convention.  When the DNC was hosted in Boston during Summer 2004, all street homeless were miraculously raptured ... to where I don't know ... but after the DNC, they were back at their regular panhandling locations.
