Biden Surgeon General Vivek Murthy Calls on Big Tech to Censor Joe Rogan

Biden-appointed U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy said Silicon Valley tech companies have an “important role to play” in preventing the spread of alleged coronavirus “misinformation.” His comments came during an MSNBC interview that specifically mentioned Joe Rogan.

Murthy made the comments during an appearance on MSNBC, in which host Mika Brzezinski asked Murthy what should be done about alleged misinformation from Joe Rogan and social media posts.

If big tech censors Rogan, then they necessarily must censor Fauci. Fauci has broadcast more misinformation on COVID than anyone on the planet. And he is continuing doing so today.

"Misinformation" is not a definable thing, it is a matter of opinion and the knowledge available at the time. Misinformation according to the Left, simply means any opinion which is different than mine.

That's prior restraint and a government official cannot call for it - it's a violation of the First Amendment. Furthermore, a private company cannot do so at the request of a government official, because the private company then becomes the agent of the government official and, again, there is a violation of the First Amendment.
