The Patriot Act, and, IIRC, the NDAA confer emergency powers on the US government that would permit everything Trudeau is doing to the Truckers, only here, under the 'right' set of declared circumstances.

The Left is already calling people who were in or near the Capitol on Jan 6 "insurrectionists", and the term "domestic terrorist" is being tossed around like candy at a parade.

Words mean something, and that is laying the rhetorical groundwork to declare any opposition to this government "terrorist" and invoke those powers.

I don't think Nancy Pelosi thought it would take this long, so now, she is talking running again.

Send American troops to Canada to deal with the tyrannical reign of Justin Trudeau Castro.

He has fundamentally declared himself dictator and is waging war on innocent Canadian protesters and those who have supported them financially.
