The release, for whatever reason, came from a lab in China, the development, in part, was paid for with US funding.
Fauci lied.
The Official W.H.O. and CDC/NIAID 'guidance' early on was perfect for spreading the virus. Other policies apply as well.
Projections of deaths were wildly high, but great for causing panic. Statistics are questionable, as people who tested positive were listed as having died of COVID, when they may have died of other causes with a COVID infection that was not the cause of death.
Viable treatments, inexpensive, known to be effective at DARPA in APRIL 2020 were viciously suppressed by official agencies which gave wildly nonsensical 'guidance' and have been inconsistent with previously known science and practices since.
Those activities suppressing treatment appear to be political in nature, and aimed at justifying lockdowns, mask requirements, and selling (ineffective) experimental vaccines. (It doesn't matter how large the study group, those shots are still experimental). These policy remedies for the virus were aimed at changing election law, with the effect of facilitating fraud on a scale never before achieved.
Suppression of effective treatment options continues, right down to the apparent politically based rationing of monoclonal antibodies and treatments developed since the suppression of effective off-label uses of existing regimens.
Tests have been questionable in accuracy from the start, with the number of PCR cycles well beyond normal, and rapid tests are now called into question, but that data is being used (cases, now, not deaths) to justify more draconian measures and calls for mandating vaccines, despite the apparent lack of vaccine efficacy in preventing infection or transmission of the variants of the virus present.
While lack of efficacy would make mandates questionable in and of itself, the number of serious adverse effects (also badly accounted statistics, but there, nonetheless) might contraindicate getting the injections.
We thought 2020 was the steal of the century, but it was just the set-up for the ongoing channeling of taxpayer dollars into the pockets of PPE manufacturers (China) and Pharma (shots and boosters).
People continue to die needlessly, but those who suppressed the cheap and effective treatment options early on cannot admit their "error", for to do so would be to take responsibility for millions of needless deaths worldwide.
Vaccine mandates are being used to cull those who either will not follow the demands of governments or other entities for political, medical, or religious reasons from the workplace and economy, in effect creating a diffuse gulag in which those who were formerly held in high regard for their competence in their respective fields are being removed from their positions or forced to participate in a medical experiment.
Recall EUA is "Experimental Use Authorization". not approval.
No manufacturer is currently able to be held liable for the adverse effects or failure to function of any COVID vaccine, for any age group.
