Elizabeth Warren to Colbert: We Have ‘an Extremist Supreme Court’ That’s ‘Gutting Voting Rights’

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) called the U.S. Supreme Court “an extremist United States Supreme Court,” and claimed they “gutted the voting rights act” of 1965, which opened the door to stop black people, Hispanics, and other minorities from voting.

“When Dr. King spoke [in 1957], it was truly the case that because of restrictive state laws, that, principally, African Americans were denied the opportunity to vote,” Warren told CBS’ left-wing late-night host Stephen Colbert during a recent appearance on The Late Show. “Then in mid 1960’s passed the Voting Rights Act.”

“And voting increased over time — but then, an extremist United States Supreme Court a few years ago gutted the Voting Rights Act. That all by itself just opened the door to restricting voting,” the senator claimed.

The Democrat Party authorities or 'controllers' sense that the endless racism and White Supremacist boogieman under your bed mantra has become passé. Therefore, they have to change their focus to a new boogieman under the bed to scare their base into voting. Now, we are seeing Democrats keeping the eternal 'racism' trope but adding 'voting rights' with it. Both of these are phantom issues which most Blacks and minorities do not care about.

Major issues today for ALL people including Blacks and other minorities are CRIME, INFLATION, and COVID RESTRICTIONS. But Democrats cannot discuss these issues because all of these are the fault of Democrats and Democrat policies. So they must distract with something new which does not exist and therefore can NEVER be actually fixed.

They must have done some kind of survey or focus group which told them that 'voter rights' would play well in their base demographic. Also, when the blowout election many predict to come in November happens, this gives them an already formulated foundation to claim the defeat was not their fault. It was all because of the evil racist White Supremacist Republicans suppressing the vote by corrupting 'voter rights'. Even the Democrats are predicting defeat in the next election and are laying a foundation now to challenge the results.

The Democrats' base demographic is no longer discernibly or definitionally "American" in terms of a commonality of interests or belief.   

Therefore, they no longer seek to appeal to "America" or even to Americans, but instead seek to exacerbate a sense of separateness among demographic groups defined by racial and cultural identity, in the hope of cobbling together enough of these groupings to constitute an electoral majority.

Theirs is a desolate, opportunistic and reductionist strategy, appealing to fear and a sense of isolation rather than promoting an agenda that even vaguely resembles the joyful individuality, as tempered by a commonality of purpose that once bound together Americans of often stunningly disparate backgrounds in pursuit of a better life for themselves and their families.

For them it is not about 'likeability' or issues of any kind. They witnessed a domestic and international machine actually 'crown' Basement Biden as President regardless of the vote count. So to these two opportunist, they are thinking the same could happen to them. Why not run for President if votes no longer count? They just want to roll the dice and see if they can get lucky as Biden did. Why not? Logic and polls no longer matter if votes no longer matter. But you cannot win if you are not in the game. They want a place at the craps table to see what happens.
