WASHINGTON – In the United States, work continues on the design of satellites that will have to “capture” and transmit both hypersonic and intercontinental ballistic missiles, learned BulgarianMilitary.com.

A press release from technology giant L3Harris Technologies said that the Space Development Agency [SDA] had carried out a preliminary review of the proposed satellite design. This inspection was carried out on September 20.

“We’ve worked closely with SDA to ensure our design taps proven technology that can scale to address the changing mission,” said L3Harris Space and Airborne Systems President Ed Zoiss in a statement. “We understand the threat and are focused on delivery.”

BulgarianMilitary.com reminds you that two companies have been approved to work on this project. These are L3Harris and Elon Musk’s company SpaceX. At the end of last year, they received permission to design and develop four passengers of this type. $ 342 million was granted, with L3Harris receiving $ 193 million and SpaceX receiving the remaining $ 149 million.
