Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh is getting hammered by fellow conservatives after signing on to a decision that helped President Joe Biden.

On Thursday he was part of the conservative majority in the court that struck down Biden’s vaccine or test mandate for private businesses, but there was another decision in which he, and Chief Justice John Roberts, sided with the liberals to give Bidens mandate a win.

The court did allow for the mandate to take effect at hospitals and health care facilities that are federally funded.

Justice Clarence Thomas penned a dissent to that ruling, signed by fellow conservative Justices Samuel Alito, Neil Gorsuch and Amy Coney Barrett.

He said that the case was about the administration insisting it has the authority “to force healthcare workers, by coercing their employers, to undergo a medical procedure they do not want and cannot undo.”

He said that the Biden administration failed to show that Congress had granted it that authority.

I vaguely remember talk about that, but it leaves me wondering why Trump didn't pick someone from the original list??  It doesn't make a whole lot of difference, because what's done is done.

Trump called him another Roberts which is a well deserved insult.

I think Gorsuch and Barrett are solid.  But Kavanaugh was purely a GOPe pick.  Just like Souter and Kennedy.  We simply can't afford to make any more mistakes.  The last time the Democrats made one was in 1962 with Byron White.  Since then, Republicans have given us Warren Berger, Harry Blackmun, John Paul Stevens, David Souter, Anthony Kennedy, John Roberts, and Brett Kavanaugh.
