It’s Official: More Americans Dead From COVID Under Biden Than Trump

President Joe Biden has achieved a historic milestone less than a year into his presidency, but the mainstream media don't want you to know about it.

According to "the best available global dataset on the pandemic," which is published and updated daily by Johns Hopkins University and relied on by Google and the New York Times, more Americans have died from COVID-19 since Biden took office than during the final year of Donald Trump's presidency.

Despite Biden's campaign pledge to "shut down the virus" if elected, 417,610 Americans have died from COVID-19 since Biden was inaugurated, which is more than the 408,450 deaths from COVID-19 that occurred on Trump's watch. Good luck trying to find any recent reporting on these figures in mainstream media outlets. Their silence is in stark contrast to the breathless "blood on his hands" hysteria with which they covered every new case of the virus until precisely Jan. 20, 2021, when the Washington Free Beacon was forced to launch its Biden Covid Death Tracker to ensure the public stayed informed.

Biden and his supporters, including most journalists, were convinced that electing a Democratic president who promised to "listen to experts" and "believe in science" would bring the pandemic to an end. "The first thing Joe Biden and I will do in the White House is get this virus under control," Vice President Kamala Harris wrote on Election Night in 2020. The Biden-Harris campaign website advertised a "seven-point plan to beat COVID-19 and get our country back on track" based on science and expertise.

Fact check: It didn't work. Cases are surging across the country, even in blue states with high vaccination rates. Hospitals are filling up with COVID-19 patients, and the virus continues to kill Americans at an average rate of nearly 1,200 per day. .........

This is a staggering statistic and quite frankly frightening. Considering that the U.S. population is appx. 320 million; everyone could be infected by roughly the end of the year. It remains to be seen of course how many will be hospitalized and how many will die.

US Reports Nearly 1 million COVID Cases in a Day, Setting Global Record

The United States set a global record of almost 1 million new coronavirus infections reported on Monday, according to a Reuters tally, nearly double the country's peak of 505,109 hit just a week ago as the highly contagious Omicron variant shows no sign of slowing.

The number of hospitalized COVID-19 patients has risen nearly 50% in the last week and now exceeds 100,000, a Reuters analysis showed, the first time that threshold has been reached since the winter surge a year ago.

Overall, the United States has seen a daily average of 486,000 cases over the last week, a rate that has doubled in seven days and far outstrips that of any other country. The 978,856 new infections on Monday includes some cases from Saturday and Sunday, when many states do not report.

The average number of U.S. deaths per day has remained fairly steady throughout December and into early January at about 1,300, according to a Reuters tally, though deaths typically lag behind cases and hospitalizations.

Omicron appears to be far more easily transmitted than previous iterations of the virus. The variant was estimated to account for 95.4% of the coronavirus cases identified in the United States as of Jan. 1, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) said on Tuesday.

The World Health Organization said on Tuesday that evidence thus far suggests Omicron is causing less severe illness. Nevertheless, public health officials have warned that the sheer volume of Omicron cases threatens to overwhelm hospitals, some of which are already struggling to handle a wave of COVID-19 patients, primarily among the unvaccinated.............

This is a staggering statistic and quite frankly frightening.

Um, no.  It's a staggering statistic and means the pandemic is nearly over.  The data out of South Africa, the fact that it spread to 38 countries without causing any deaths, and the fact that they are hiding the cause of death in the handful of deaths "with omicron" in the Anglosphere (because it probably was some comorbidity, not omicron), and the biochemistry of omicron which shows it to be far more like the four coronaviruses among the 20 plus viruses that cause "the" common cold than was the original SarCov-2 virus all suggest that we would all do well to go out and get exposed to it.  Pathogens evolve toward greater contagion and lower virulence.  Omicron is very contagious and not very virulent.  There might be another variant to displace it, but if there is, we should probably greet it with the name "new common cold virus" rather than giving it a Greek letter, as it will be yet again more contagious and less virulent.

Of course, we'll still have to elect a GOP Congress to get rid of the completely overblown reaction to it that made you think it was frightening, and reclaim our ancient liberties as Americans from the virologists, epidemiologists and public health "experts", but their continued hysterical reactions as people realize the omicron is somewhere between a head cold and a moderately nasty flu in terms of its effects, will help with that project.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.
