It has to be. If one looks at the openings on either side, there's an elliptical curve up to the corner - when load-bearing brick fails, it tends to fail along a 45-degree angle, not on the much shallower angle apparent from the image. The load-bearing structure must be a steel or concrete skeleton to which the brick facade has been attached.
Reminds me of the American McMansions. Some install three inch solid oak doors on those things. LOL Why?
If I want to get in one of those I'm not going through the door. Just pick a wall. The only thing between me and the inside is façade, tarpaper, plyboard, insulation, and drywall. Who needs to screw with a 3" triple bolted door? Just go through the wall. Much easier.
