Joe Biden Denies Monoclonal Antibody Treatments as States Experience Shortages

President Joe Biden continues ignoring state demands for more monoclonal antibody treatments, as shortages are preventing Americans seeking the treatment from accessing them.

Last week, the Biden administration paused shipments of the Regeneron and Eli Lilly treatments because of concerns about their effectiveness against the omicron variant.

The monoclonal antibody treatment Sotrovimab continues to be distributed.

Florida Surgeon General Joseph Ladapo directly criticized the administration in a letter on Tuesday for “actively preventing” distribution of the treatments, noting they could be used in delta variant cases of the virus.

“The sudden suspension of multiple monoclonal antibody therapy treatments from distribution to Florida removes a health care provider’s ability to decide the best treatment options for their patients in their state,” the letter read, criticizing the “shortsightedness” of the Biden administration.

The Department of Health and Human Services responded to Ladapo’s letter noting that the federal government would continue to provide some antibody treatments, but did not specifically address reports of the shortages.

“The federal government has and will continue to supply Florida with treatments that can help improve patient outcomes, reduce stress on healthcare facilities, and save lives,” they said in a statement to Fox News.

US govt hastily stops monoclonal antibody distribution declaring it ineffective against omicron.
One week later we learn the vast majority of cases are still delta.
So we stopped an effective therapy for the more severe variant.
They REALLY hate early treatment.

Well, this bunch says regular testing for COVID can be substituted for the vaxxes, while refusing to stock up on test kits.  This effectively removed that option for people who don't want the vax.  So, it's no surprise they would do their best to stamp out Therapeutic treatments as well.

My question about their questions about efficacy is this: Are they concerned that those monoclonal antibodies are not effective, or that they ARE??

The panic is slipping, except in the blue enclaves.
More and more people have recognized they've been lied to, so much so that HBO has a crockumentary attacking "misinformation" about COVID and 'those who spread it', an obvious effort to bolster the narrative.

If it's on HBO or MTV or ABCNNBCBS, etc. it's what the Left wants you to believe.

I got my "misinformation" from peer reviewed medical journals in the NIH library.

My SIL is back in Tennessee but still struggling with Covid.  No monoclonal antibodies available.  There were no problems with supply up until the point where the federal government got involved.
