Being an alcoholic is fun. It is like a constant mystery movie. Found a shoe and a sock in my refrigerator. I am sure there is a whole story behind that somewhere. Some kind of consistent logical progression that caused drunk me to logically deduce that it belonged there. Why? I don't know. Much more accepting of things I cannot understand. Half a watermelon in the microwave, why not? Who am I to say this is wrong? Just accept it and move on.

Every time I wake up it is a new adventure discovering what went on before I slept, and trying to figure out why I thought this or that was a good idea, at the time.

Hope your Christmas Time is everything you want it to be.

I don't know about being an alcholic from personal experiences,but I CAN tell you that being a blackout drunk is no fun at all.

How can you be having fun when you can't remember a single damn thing that happened?

It feels weird this year.

Not as depressing as last year, to be sure, but... odd. It rained here today. It never rains here on Christmas—there's almost always either snowflakes flying or snow on the ground. Rarely you might see a sunny and warm Christmas, but today it rained. I was outside in a Hawaiian shirt for a little while today. This after a November that was cold and snowy.

It was a nice quiet Christmas.

Ordered Chinese, watched Netflix, and a neighbor bought over rum balls.

I’ve never had one before. Yummy!
