Another Alaska-based soldier is found dead off post

Yet another Alaska-based Soldier has been found dead in his living quarters, this time in the Fort Wainwright area.
Spc. Hunter Trey Stafford, an aircraft powerplant repairer with the 1st Battalion, 25th Aviation Regiment, was found at his Fairbanks home on December 8.
Stafford, who was known for his love of Chevrolets and off-roading, was well-liked by his peers.
“He had a big Chevy Silverado that he bought,” fellow aircraft mechanic David Hosea said. “I remember the day he bought it, he was so excited.”
