Elon Musk: Declining Birth Rates ‘Biggest’ Threat to Civilization

In an age when Big Tech billionaires push population control and fearmonger over resource scarcity, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk has distinguished himself as the exception, consistently warning that population decline will be the death of civilization.

Speaking at the Wall Street Journal’s CEO Council Summit, Musk reaffirmed his past positions that the world is quickly becoming underpopulated.

“I can’t emphasize this enough: There are not enough people,” Musk said via a video call from a new Tesla factory. “One of the biggest risks to civilization is the low birth rate and the rapidly declining birth rate.” He went on:

And yet, so many people, including smart people, think that there are too many people in the world and think that the population is growing out of control. t’s completely the opposite. Please look at the numbers — if people don’t have more children, civilization is going to crumble, mark my words.

It isn't just a question of birth rate, it is a question of who is having the kids.

Those in first world countries are more likely to contribute to the growth of civilization, others less so.

But every now and then, humanity manages to burn the books and start over.

The people of first world countries....are limiting their birth of children.

Might have something to do with the exponentially increasing cost for WORKING families to raise children without government subsidies.

As harsh as it sounds, that model would work to produce stable numbers if first world countries didn't feed them. Between hunger, disease, and violence, there would be sufficient attrition to reduce the number of children who survived to adulthood, and the number of adults who lived to old age.

It is what they have always done to offset infant and childhood mortality.
Besides, having a large 'tribe' means more warriors who can take what they need.
