Long past overtime you dismounted your pretentious high horse, as a Trumo Carney-Barker, and got real.
Our wise Founders left countless examples, recounted by history as well as their own words, such as
Jefferson's Declaration! By the way, has Trumpy Dumpy completed his Declaration yet???
Plain and simple people grasp the magnitude of the malaise enveloping us and know the ageless wisdom
of our Founders, holds the answers.
That wisdom was the legacy of Rome, the colonizer of Britain who did likewise for us much later.
In stark contrast, the horse manure of Politics, is the romantic obsession of our self-labeled Leaders and Fans.
We have an opportunity to recover, if and when we embrace the former and flush the latter down the drain.

Ok, so it should not be insuperably difficult for someone as wise as yourself to (a) list some of these "countless examples" of word and deed, and (b) explain how those examples are to be instantiated in modern-day America.

Yep, in Ab's eyes human history only applies from Adam (7000 bc) to 1899 a.d.

Modern day politicans and / or despots need not apply.
I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

You really should take a break from posting @Absalom .... This "plain and simple"  "Trumo Carney-Barker"  ( ) knows you're perilously close to exposing how little you know and how much less you understand.

You need some fresh air ---- badly.  So slip on your spanking new pair of Keds, give your 8x10 color glossy of Donald Trump a kiss on the cheek and spend some quality time trying to figure out how to open the door to the backyard.  I'll be pulling for you.

Listen up Ginny!
The behavior of Leaders since Adam created examples for plain people who intuitively grasped this.

Trump is an entrepreneur, which simply does not fit in your polite statesman category.  But Hitler does.  He went so far as to swear of meat just so he wouldn't offend anyone with the occasional fart.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

-Ayn Rand-

"No" is one word.  Not that I expect you to count.

Can you translate what this means into real world examples @libertybele ----- How do @Absalom 's "plain people" use what you posted to save a nation?

Adhering to the Constitution and principles upon which this country was founded is the only way that we are going to restore this Republic.

Obviously that is not being done and hasn't been done for quite some time.

Plain people need to hold their elected officials accountable for not adhering to the rule of law -- that hasn't been done andwe just experienced a stolen election. So much for voting for 'change' at the ballot box.

I certainly don't have the answers @Right_in_Virginia and it may be far too late to save our country.

I was hoping us "plain folk" could brainstorm and come up with a path forward which is why I started a thread "Where do we go from here" -- we all pretty much know what needs to be done -- it's how to get it done is the problem.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
