Three-year-old boy from Honduras called for his 'mamá and papá' after he was smuggled from Mexico and abandoned at a river in Texas
McAllen Border Patrol Station officers found an unaccompanied three-year-old boy from Honduras with a group of 47 migrants in Havana, Texas, on Sunday
The child was spotted by the migrants moments after he had been abandoned on the banks of the Rio Grande
Agents transferred the boy to a local border patrol facility where they discovered his mother's phone number was written on the shirt he was wearing

An unaccompanied three-year-old boy from Central America was found among a group migrants who had been smuggled from Mexico across the Rio Grande in Texas - and were able to contact the boy's family after finding a phone number scrawled on his shirt.
