Look: this is a disease of the mind called "racial determinism", whereby free will, human action, intentions and physical reality surrender to the political equivalent of Predestination. Each race is held to possess characteristic attitudes, beliefs and behaviors.

That comment suffers from tunnel vision. Whites were enslaved worldwide, not just in the British Colonies that became the US.I do not have any numbers, but it was not uncommon for indentures to not be released, even after the time originally specified was over, but that was a fraction of the whites enslaved worldwide.
