Please cite evidence that anyone has expressed interest in being Trump's running mate @Right_in_Virginia .

When Trump wins the nomination, or anyone else wins the nomination, there will be a gaggle
of those wishing to be VP on the ticket. I suggest the number two should be a ruthless SOB,
ya know like Nixon picked in way back time.

It is way too soon for anyone to openly say they wish to be number two. Number one spot still
seems to be in play, technically that is.

Slide Rule is for Trump early on.

I'm relaxed you are triggered by Mike Pence! Chris Christie won two terms as my governor!

Your governor left office with a 16% approval rating!   And, I'm not triggered by Mike Pence.  I'm triggered by those who think he's politically viable.  I want to know what color the sky is on their planet.

The allusion was to a "line of Trump VP wannabes."  @Slide Rule you seem to agree with me that there actually is no such line.

I've given my reasons in the linked posts for predicting that a 2024 Trump candidacy will struggle to find a running mate, and a re-elected Trump will struggle to fill key administration positions.  I stand by those reasons; I don't expect  much of a "gaggle" for anything.  But perhaps I'll be proven wrong.

@MikePence

There you go again! Chris Christie's approvals are over 50% in my state among NJ republicans! So many were red-pilled in 2021, so his support could be higher the more Biden sinks Trump, will never get that here. Someone like Christie could flip NJ red   Pence is politically viable. He has a 69% approval rating among our party, and he is not petty like Trump. He would help any republican not declare war on people like Kemp because he didn't kiss Don's ring. VP Pence has a more peaceful temperament. In his speeches. He is more hopefully optimistic, like Reagan! And Trump is so grim and angry. He is trying to do what he did in 2016. That won't work because He was already President once. You are that you can't act like that. Polls indicated Pence would have faired better than Trump against Biden, and Mike would defeat the democrats in 2024! And speaking of low approvals, Trump's were sad on election day! Gov Christie's approvals were through the roof on election day 2013!  November 3 Chris Christie won re-election! We live on the same planet! We were not body-snatched like Chicago mayor beetlejuice!

Maybe you'll end up being right, but we won't really know until Trump actually declare himself a candidate.

Yep, and if polling data and momentum suggest a massive-enough "Red Wave" in 2024, then potential running mates might calculate differently than I anticipate.

However most people will not accept a job reporting to a terrible boss, no matter how good the company might be or how profitable the market for the company's products.  I wouldn't.

If you really want to turn NJ red, fix your damn election fraud.  @MikePence

It's Chris Christie's last day in office — here's how he became the least popular governor in New Jersey history
Buiness Insider, Jan 16, 2018

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, once a star in the Republican Party with a nearly 80% approval rating, will leave office on Tuesday as the least popular governor in his state's history.

Christie began his seven-year tenure in office as a big-tent Republican, viewed by many across the aisle as a tough straight-talker. Following the destruction of Hurricane Sandy in 2012, his approval rating surged into the high 70s and he won reelection by a landslide in 2013. Once unafraid to diverge from party orthodoxy, Christie has in recent years tacked right, running for president on a conservative platform and endorsing a president widely despised among New Jerseyans.

After several scandals, including the criminal convictions of two of his top aides, and a failed 2016 presidential bid, Christie has just a 14% approval rating and is widely disliked in his own state and party.

Here is the series of events that led to Christie's decline:

Trump demands loyalty. I don't think thats unreasonable.

I realize there are others who disagree.

For someone who claims to be so smart, why does Trump keep giving ambush interviews like these?

I display the Confederate Battle Flag in honor of my great great great grandfathers who spilled blood at Wilson's Creek and Shiloh.  5 others served in the WBTS with honor too.

It does not matter what Trump says, the media will edit and twist it until they can beat him over the head with it.
I am pretty sure Trump's running mate will not be a swamprat like pence, it most likely will be another businessperson of the caliber of Pompeo.

@Right_in_Virginia

He may have a 69% with the Biden/Cheney wing of the Republican Party @MikePence but these are the deep state, lying, assistant socialists we're done with and will defeat.  With Mike Pence it won't be a battle, it will be more like a flick of lint from our collective political lapel.

This  pointing-up part of your post is nonsensical, but since you took the time to include it,  I'll do my best to reply to it.

I'll leave you with this ad from President Trump, the optimistic warrior who is also an achiever.  Let me know if you've got any questions about this @MikePence and I'll be more than happy to explain to you why 30,000 Americans at a clip still turn out to hear from the man who has earned their respect, trust, affection and loyalty.
