I've been saying that for years. The republicants don't want to be in power. That way they can blame everything on the DCP. It is also destroying this country.

The GOP wants to be in power. There are certain perks and benefits that go with that such as committees chairmanships and they  can shower their lobbyist with goodies easier. That doesn’t mean they are useful once they get that power, though
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.
