You had nothing to do with Virginia's victory, and I'll be damned if you're going to take the credit or reap a reward.  Shut up, you fraud.

Exactly. He's only marginally less useless than McConnell.

Oh, I really like this guy!

@Jack Russell

I really like what I hear,but would need to know more about him factually before I would support him.

Not that it matters because I don't live in Virginia.

Still,I WOULD love to see everything he stated be proven true,and then  see him beat whatever RINO and Dim that ran against him.

Hey! If can happen in Virginia,maybe it can  also happen in my  state or your state,also.

I did a little digging and found the badge above the gongs: EOD officer.

I like what I hear, someone who understands where all this socialist crap leads, and not just in theory.

A qualification badge like a EOD badge ranks  higher than  Bronze Star for Meritorious Service? I can't find it now,but I could swear I saw of photo of him in his dress whites with a BS/MS medal hanging off his dress whites.

Take into consideration that I know absolutely  nothing about how the USN rates these things.

I do too,and generally speaking,there is no one more patriotic about being an American that a first generation American whose family fled a communist country.

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

It is a specialty thing. At that level, Naval EOD are also qualified closed circuit divers.

Like Naval surface warfare gets a ship splitting the waves, submariners get dolphins and a sub, aviators get wings, UDT and SEALs get a Trident. It just tells other navy folks what you are specialized in, just like the CIB goes on top for infantry.

If he was serving on the ground, chances are that is only a part of what he is/was qualified to do.

If you are so inclined, there is a good article on Navy Badges here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Badges_of_the_United_States_Navy

Scroll down to find the EOD one.

@Smoking Joe

Thanks!

BTW,a CIB is NOT a qualification badge. The only way  to legitimately be awarded one is to have a Infantry MOS,and have two different witnesses testify that you were both shot at and returned fire with an enemy force in combat.

Of course,the rules are different for senior officers and those with political rabbi's,like Miss Miley. She got hers while serving as a staff officer in the Muddle East. Which means if she heard a shot fired,it was at a range inside the camp or an accidental discharge.

Maybe it isn't technically, but for all to see, it is a 'been there, done that' that speaks volumes. I was never in the service, but my dad has his, as have many of my friends.

What does two out of three get you? (I'm missing the infantry MOS.)

The entire Virginia GOP had nothing to do with Youngkin's victory.  They actively supportive of McAuliffe's first victory.  They just didn't think he needed as much help the second time around.  They've learned their lesson and will be more vigilant protecting Kaine in the next Senate race.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-
