Biden says Pope Francis thinks he should keep receiving communion

Pope Francis described President Biden as a "good Catholic" during their meeting on Friday, according to Biden, and also said that he should keep receiving communion.

Biden told reporters that the issue of abortion rights, which Biden supports and which has led to calls for the Catholic Church to not offer him communion, did not come up in the discussion.

“No, it didn’t,” he said when asked if abortion came up. “We just talked about the fact that he was happy that I was a good Catholic and ... keep receiving communion.”

When asked if the pope said he should keep receiving communion, the president responded, “Yes.”

The U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops is coming out with a formal statement next month on the meaning of Holy Communion, which will include whether pro-abortion rights politicians such as Biden should be denied it.

The problem for the Catholic Church is the same as what you see in the Reformed churches. If you don't stand on the firm ground of Scripture you will be subject to whatever the whims of the day are. IOW, it's not just the Catholic church that doesn't stand for life, marriage, and the moral guidelines God gave us it's most Christian churches today. Why be an active member, fellowshipping with other members, of a body that doesn't really stand for anything and in a nutshell that's why Christianity is in decline in the modern world.

Reports are coming in that the reason Biden;s stay with the Pope was so long is that during the meeting Joe Shit himself. His aids had to rush back to his hotel and get another set of undies/depends and pants.

some wishy washy approval of the man?

Many think the church will have to have a purging to regain any religious following.

The pope could study the Economists Mises. Books are a minor cost and I bet his library
