Overlooked Conservative Message from the 60's
« on: October 15, 2021, 02:36:10 pm »
Alvin Lee was one of the most talented guitar players that has ever lived. Stevie Ray may be Number 1,but Alvin has a solid lock on Number 2.

Sadly,he was sooooo freaking talented we all listened to his guitar playing,not his lyrics. Even people like me who DID pick up on the message as it was being sent out,tended to forget the lyrics and remember the notes.

If only more people had listened to to the message!

BTW,I didn't place this on a music thread because the message he is sending would get lost.

Back when I was living in North Mississippi, I had a buddy who went to see Alvin Lee in concert opening for Black Sabbath.  When Lee ended, he left.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

@Hoodat

Can't say that I blame him.
