For all practial purposes,they virtually have the power to destroy our nation now by simply refusing to ship goods to us. Our economy would collapse overnight.

Look at how the shortage of vehicle computer chips already has the auto industry on it's heels. Dealerships are calling customers to see if they want to sell their cars or truck back to the dealer beause they don't have enough new vehicles sitting on their lots to pay the freaking overhead,and they can't get any more because the Chinese won't/haven't shipped them the computer chips they need to be able to start and drive.

When you cripple the auto industry,you also take down hundreds of associated businesses that supply them with other parts.

This is some serious Bush.

It has to pass some sort of test, so trucks older than 2010 can't come in from out-of-state, too much hassle.
California wants all electric trucks by 2035, which probably won't happen.
