The 17-year-old charged with felony murder in the traffic deaths of three valets was also a valet and was driving a customer’s car at the time of the crash Friday night, officials said Wednesday.
Those details were revealed during a probable cause hearing for Ahmedaltayeb Elnouman Modawi, who is charged in the deaths of 18-year-old Fnan Measho, 22-year-old Eric Orduña and 23-year-old Nick Rodríguez. The three Prospect Park valets were coming back to the restaurant after parking customers’ cars when they were hit by a car driven by Modawi as he was evading police, authorities said.
Where Modawi worked is unclear, but authorities said he and another person were in a customer’s car, a white Infiniti G37, when a Houston Police Department sergeant saw him doing donuts in a parking lot not far from the crash site.
