According to the latest research from the Pew Research Center, more than half of Americans are not confident in Joe Biden’s Administration’s ability to vet the tens of thousands of Afghan evacuees the Admin. continues to bring to the United States for resettlement.

The Pew Research Center survey showed that 55% of American adults lack confidence in the Biden Administration to adequately vet the approximate 95,000 Afghans they hope to resettle across 46 states over the next 12 months.

Approximately 27% of Americans said they are “not too confident” in the government’s vetting abilities, 28% said they are “not at all confident.” Even among registered Democrats, or voters who lean Democratic, more than 30% said they do not have confidence in the Administration’s abilities. In addition, nearly 83% of Republicans, including those who lean Republican, reported also lacking confidence in the vetting process.
