“We know that air travel during the 2020 holiday season contributed to last winter’s devastating COVID-19 surge. We simply cannot allow that to happen again,” Feinstein, 88, said in a statement.

She could have issued that statement from her home in CA.  She's not showing up to vote on important bills.

Here's a thought. Her handlers can claim that she is spending the time with Bernie Sanders,and they are doing a remake of "weekend with Bernie."

Considering the two, shouldn't that be weekend with Bernies? Though Feinswein is much more qualified for the lead role.
