On America's credibility after Biden's botched Afghan withdrawal:

Milley: "I think 'damaged' is one word that could be used, yes."

Austin: "I think our credibility remains solid."

Looks like Austin is being loyal to the Biden WH while Milley is out there on his own.

Probably because Milley is feeling pressure to show that he's all-military, to try and fend off proceedings against him for his treasonous mutiny against President Trump.

Agreed. But I think right now - just my personal thinking on it - that Milley is feeling more pressure to pretend that he's something he's not - a loyal American military officer - in order to ward off possible discipline for his self-confessed treason.

Gen. McKenzie thus far has chosen to deviate from talkers on occasion.

If GOP Sens. are interested in getting closer to the truth - I’d direct more pointed questions at McKenzie.

I think he has proven beyond all doubt that he is a fool and a incompetent asskisser. I am also fairly certain he can kiss his dream of getting a highly paid board seat on any defense corporation goodbye after this appearance. I doubt any of them would give him a board seat if he offered to pay THEM for it.

Depends on which GO or senior officer it is. As it turns out...GEN McConville the current Army Chief of Staff was a Milley henchman.

Most of the senior leadership got their flag during Obama...AFTER his purge of the GO corps...so there's probably not many that disagree with what Milley is saying.

Generals just revealed Biden went against their advice on a contingency force, which led to the collapse of the Afghan government, and he lied in an interview about it, but CNN has their script and they are sticking to it.

This is a huge.
1. Pentagon told Biden that they needed to keep troops there to avoid a collapse (both Milley and McKenzie)...so they EXPECTED a collapse if we pulled out.
2. Biden took that information, pondered it, and decided to pull out against the military's best advice.
