In Case You Missed It Dept.:

President Biden's speech explaining his evacuation Tuesday rallied the liberal media behind him. The Democrats fell quickly back in line and made supportive statements. Senator Chuck Schumer assured each American who's stranded in Afghanistan that they will receive a mail-in ballot.

The White House caught heat over video that showed President Biden impatiently glancing at his watch during Monday's Fallen Heroes ceremony. The Press Secretary said Biden was not looking at his watch he was looking at his rosary. Only Joe Biden would have a rosary made by Rolex.

The CDC moved to purify language last week, identifying toxic and stigmatizing phrases in English. The CDC said alcoholics should be addressed as persons with alcohol issues. The homeless should be called persons lacking shelter, and illegal immigrants described as mail-in voters.

President Biden spoke to the nation Tuesday and took credit for the success of the airlifting of refugees from Kabul Airport while he blamed Trump for the evacuation debacle. It didn't go unanswered. Jimmy Carter just released a statement blaming Gerald Ford for the 1979 hostage crisis.

The White House was hit by new nationwide poll Thursday that showed President Biden's job approval rating plummeted twenty points to forty three percent over his handling of the Afghan evacuation. How bad is it? On Friday the state of Louisiana declared President Biden a disaster area.

President Biden tried to change the subject from foreign policy Thursday and blamed extreme weather on climate change in a speech. It was a victory lap. After labeling the partial evacuation from Afghanistan an extraordinary success, Biden called Hurricane Ida a refreshing summer rain.

President Biden was set to fly to Louisiana to try to pick up everyone's spirits after this week's devastation, which is a hoot. Joe Biden says he's willing to help Louisiana and Mississippi with hurricane recovery. After seeing how he helped Afghanistan, they might want to handle it themselves.

President Biden declared the evacuation of Afghanistan an extraordinary success Tuesday. I don't know. Biden also says the voyage of the Titanic was an extraordinary success when you consider it made it most of the way across the ocean and thirty-one percent of the passengers survived.

Facebook apologized after its censors labeled parts of the Declaration of Independence as hate speech. When I was a child in the late 1950s, NBC aired the Wizard of Oz once a year on Sunday nights and I wondered how people could still talk if they didn’t have a brain. And then I got Tik-Tok.

President Biden will give a speech Thursday to lay out his six-point plan to control the spread of the Delta variant of Corona Virus. Tourists love to gather outside the White House lawn to see the Changing of the Subject. The only thing spreading faster than the Delta variant is the Taliban.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki got angry at White House reporters Tuesday who are referring to the plight of the Americans stranded n Afghanistan as a hostage crisis. The Biden administration has an explanation for the reason why the Americans were left behind. Trump did it.

Nancy Pelosi rebuked two U.S. Congressmen who chartered flights to Kabul to rescue stranded Americans there. Cable news video showed the Taliban going door-to-door machine-gunning Afghans who refuse to comply with the new regime's orders. The CDC is reportedly studying the idea.

CDC Director Rochelle Walensky warned Friday there's a new variant that'll follow the Delta variant. For me, after a year and a half of dire warnings, the pandemic has finally reached the oh-shut-up-level. The hardest part of fourteen days to flatten the curve is always the last eighteen months.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

In a time of universal deceit - telling the truth is a revolutionary act.
More than any other time in history, mankind faces a crossroads. One path leads to despair and utter hopelessness. The other, to total extinction. Let us pray we have the wisdom to choose correctly.-Woody Allen

Brothers, sisters, come on down to that river
Guaranteed you'll never be the same
There's a fountain flowing from the heart of the Savior
Bring your sins and all your guilty stains
Let that river of life wash it all away
