In addition to taking all our assets I am sure a part of the deal will be "Soviet Elections",where we get to vote for anybody we want,but all the votes go to the party  officials in favor.

Credit Unions are nothing but banks  with  a different name. The goal  is ABSOLUTE control over cash flow and who it flows to. You don't REALLY think they would let them slide,do you?

Credit Unions have different rules than a normal bank. They are not insured by the FDIC. They are a non-profit entity and are pretty much owned by the members and you have to apply for membership. Membership is granted to a select group of 'owners'. Credit unions would have to return money to you, whereas banks are solely at the mercy of the fed regulations.

Good., we belong to a credit union and I am in the processing of transferring some funds into a credit union.

If you've been reading or watching the news, banks are failing and people are having trouble obtaining their money., i.e., Bank of America, Wells Fargo and Green Dot in particular.
