Biden visits union hall to mark Labor Day
By Alex Gangitano - 09/06/21 03:04 PM EDT

WILMINGTON, DEL. – President Biden visited a union hall to celebrate Labor Day on Monday, where he greeted workers and brought them lunch.

The president arrived at International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 313 with a box from Capriotti's, a deli that was founded in Wilmington.

The president greeted Lonnie Stephenson, president IBEW, and Bobby Murrian, the 313 business manager. He then shook hands with several other members and they stood in a circle outside while he spoke to them.

“Come on, let’s get something to eat,” he said and grabbed a sandwich from the Capriotti's box to hand off to a worker.

Great, now visit the union coal miners, gas and oil workers and manufacturing workers whose jobs your "green new deal" policies have destroyed.

Why doesn't he just continue to hide out in Delaware? That would be best for our country.
I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

From what I see it looks like he went to a local Wilmington union hall, and I'll bet from the way the picture is framed they didn't get more than 15 or 20 union brothers to turn out. Would you give up family time to hang with demented fool responsible for the deaths of 13 of our finest and the stranding of Americans in terrorist hell hole?

Joe Biden Serves Sandwiches to Union Workers on Labor Day

President Joe Biden celebrated Labor Day by delivering deli sandwiches to union workers in his home state of Delaware.

According to the Associated Press, the president visited an event orchestrated by the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 313 in New Castle, Delaware, where he served sandwiches from Capriotti’s, a Delaware restaurant chain founded in 1976.

“He shook hands and chatted with the group of mostly men, who were clad in jeans and union T-shirts,” reported the AP. “Biden spent several minutes chatting with the union members in groups before telling them, ‘C’mon, let’s go get something to eat.'”

Biden later told a union member’s mom that he has been a proud supporter of the union since he was first elected to public office in the 1970s. The IBEW endorsed Biden for president during the 2020 election, hailing him as a strong protector of workers’ rights and the man to fight climate change:

Does anyone believe that even according to their own lights, the American left still cares about the working class?  Biden has the sense not to call them "deplorables", but those who still consider themselves Leftists and do care about the working class, almost uniformly see wokeness, which the Biden administration has embraced wholesale, even inflicting it on the military, as a cynical attempt by the elite too keep the working class divided by setting blacks against whites and whites against blacks even (or perhaps especially) when their interests coincide.  (On other fora where I interact with such self-identified Leftists railing against CRT or gender ideology, I have taken to welcoming them to the 21st century Right -- pointing out that someone ought to look out for the interests of the working class, since the 21st century Left sure has heck isn't.)
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

I notice he picked a trade union, rather than a labor union.

I rather like labor unions, but abhor both public sector unions (for reasons Calvin Coolidge and FDR agreed on) and dislike trade unions.  Both exist to get the government to give their members favors at the expense of the general populace -- obviously in the case of public sector unions, but also in the case of trade unions that try to get the government to give their members a guild monopoly on the provision of some service (e.g. wiring buildings and repairing electrical components of buildings).  Labor unions can be corrupted into vehicles to get goodies from the state, but they have the legitimate function of improving workers ability to get good contracts from employers, who in many cases are effectively monopsonists (or at least oligopsonists) vis-a-vis a sector of the labor market in some region of the country.
And when they behead your own people in the wars which are to come, then you will know what this was all about.

To celebrate workers Labor day, shouldn't Joe have celebrated in China where he sent so many of the jobs for Chinese workers to prosper by?
