White House says there is STILL an active threat from ISIS-K with 100 Americans stranded in Kabul and fears terrorists could sneak onto private charter flights and launch attacks on US bases

    Jen Psaki said 'there continue to be active ISIS-K threats' as she addressed efforts to get remaining Americans out of Afghanistan
    She said there are still at least 100 nationals left in the country
    The press secretary denied reports the administration was blocking charter flights taking off from Kabul
    Instead she said officials had concerns about charter flights landing at U.S military bases
    'We know ISIS-K has a keen interest in attacks against ... our personnel on the ground in our military bases,' she said

We now know we told the Taliban we only wanted to secure H-KAI - before we secured it

The Taliban flooded H-KAI with military-aged-males  before we secured it 

We told the enemy our plan before we implemented it

The "largest airlift in U.S. history" - evac'd the wrong people

So I have a question...since we signed a peace agreement with the Taliban...but all we've every signed with the North Koreans is a cease fire...and because we still have troops on the Korean peninsula...wouldn't that make Korea and NOT Afghanistan "America's Longest War"?

IIRC, they went out of their way to refer to it as the "Korean Conflict"... never a 'war' per se.   :shrug:

Yeah they tried to put a nice political name to it...I remember it at times being referred to as a "Police Action".

But IMHO it was a no shit shooting war...especially to the people in the middle of it.

Just seems like the left trying to rewrite history...again...and hoping the short attention span generation doesn't take notice or care about history.

Is it just me or is the number of Americans they are telling us are still stranded dropping almost daily even though no one to speak of has been able to leave? Another day or two and Lieden and his stooges will tell us there are no Americans that are stranded and none were ever even left behind.

No, I would say that Americas longest war is the one democrats have been waging against the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, unless you are only speaking of international wars.

??? This to me is insane.  We are putting Afghani's onto military bases?  How long will it be before the Afghani's take over these bases??
