PSAKI: Our troops are still in danger.... This is the most dangerous part of the mission, the retrograde period of the mission,when forces begin to move not just troops & equipment. A very dangerous part of any mission, but in this case, w/ an ongoing and acute threat from ISIS.

JUST IN - Taliban forces have reportedly entered the military section of #Kabul airport. The U.S. could hand over control of the airport as early as tonight, according to local sources.

According to DOD data— today is THE deadliest (hostile) day for US troops since an August 5, 2011 helicopter attack — making this day THE deadliest attack in more than a decade.

The Aug 5, 2011 attack was the direct result of an idiot VP leaking classified info about Seal Team 6.  In other words, the last two deadliest days for US troops are both attributed to Joe Biden.
