 DARPA’s ‘guided bullets’ are a sniper’s dream

Agency says the system is so easy to use 'a novice shooter using the system for the first time hit a moving target'

First off, it’s classified, and we don’t know if it is in use with American forces, covert or otherwise, in some part of the world.

Secondly, experts say this technology could very well revolutionize the job of military sniper.

Lastly, imagine a bullet as a self-guided weapon, able to make course corrections in mid-flight.

It sounds a bit crazy, but apparently this is a pet project of those mad scientists at the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, or DARPA.

Watched that the other night (Tom Selleck fan), pretty cheesy, but the end battle was a good watch (Kiss bad guy had a good gotcha moment).

At high speed I would imagine the "correction" would be less that perhaps at a lower rate of velocity. If you slow the bullet down, you lose impact force (even with 50 Cal size which packs quite a punch).

Not Tom's worst, I think that prize goes to "Daughters Of Satan".
