BOOM: NY Supreme Court rules against the New York Times, will allow James O’Keefe to depose them!

This is big. The New York Supreme Court has ruled today that James O’Keefe can depose the New York Times after ruling that the Times failed to provide justification to grant a stay prohibiting the depositions:

This could get very interesting. Because major MSM outlets think they can slander public figures - which O'Keefe obviously is - with impunity, NYT "reporters", writers, and editors probably spoke very freely in emails, and with discovery, those emails could enable O'Keefe to overcome the NYT's predictable public figure defense.

BTW, in State of New York usage, "supreme court" means the trial court, not the highest court of appeals.
