The past year has been one of continuously ramped up pressure on Americans, lost jobs, businesses, riots, economic malaise, fear of COVID pimped 24/7 with any cause for hope squashed until it became cause for control. Some folks just don't respond well to that, anyway, in the best of circumstances (considering the situation), but for those who have no Faith in their Creator to fall back on, it is a particularly onerous burden to have shouldered, especially without being able to stop by the bar and have a beverage or two and commiserate with your friends.
But, for fun, here goes. I will describe how I feel about all this, and you tell me, am I a "terrorist"? or just an American?
I consider my medical decisions to be between me and my doctor, or between me and God, but the Government needs to keep out. They have proven repeatedly in the past year that they don't know what they are talking about, contradicting and re-contradicting their own statements. I'm educated enough to make my own choices, and given access, to evaluate the quality of the data that is being tossed about as well. Let me decide. Wear that mask if it makes you feel better, but I'm really not one to be caught up in the fashionable useless gesture of the day. I won't sneeze on you, I'll stand back if you want, but don't expect me to allow myself to be punished for being healthy, nor would i expect you to suffer that fate, either.
Basically, the Government has made a complete cock-up of this in so many ways, that I just want it to get out of my way. Not cause for violent revolution, just back away and get off my lawn and quit making ridiculous rules that don't benefit anyone but importers of the next (current?) pervasive litter item, the disposable mask. Great to have the equivalent of millions of dirty tissues littering the country. Maybe, if the courts would actually punish some criminals, they'd have them picking them up--no doubt wearing Tyveks, and gloves, and masks...
The 2020 election: C'mon, man! Helen Keller could see the fraud if she was still around, so, yes, it's bloody obvious that a LOT of crooked crap went on. I just want honest elections in the future, not that I expect the Democrats to turn over a new leaf.
I definitely do not expect that doddering puppet in the White House to be removed and Trump sworn in. Not only was the opportunity for such was lost to America when the SCOTUS reneged on its Constitutional Duty to at least examine an issue brought before it as the court of Primary (and sole) jurisdiction. But the 25th Amendment successor will be another Communist/progressive/socialist/Democrat (Pick one, it's pretty much all the same stuff with a different label on the can)
So, no, I don't expect to see a POTUS Trump before 2024, if then, and there is a massive cleanup to be done to the electoral process before that could even happen. I'm not even sure that the 2022 election will accurately reflect the will of the electorate, especially with the willful blindness the Justice System in this country at almost every level has demonstrated.
However, the politically inclined groups seldom mentioned by the Left (and often sponsored by them) are the ones with a track record of violence and destruction, as the smoking ruins of several cities' precincts can mutely attest.
Somehow, I do not feel that the Administration is interested in the blatant lawlessness right in front of its nose, and that will doubtless continue at some level.
As for a response to that, check the laws for self defense and the rules for using force at any level in your particular jurisdiction, you might need to know those, if they apply.
That is hardly a call to arms against any legitimate governmental entity, just pointing out the obvious--that people might be on their own when it comes to preventing their own death, serious injury, or destruction of their property, and they'd best be well versed in what is legal and what is not, and how to deal with the aftermath of any self-defense situation.
Keeping your family safe from violent criminals is no revolt against any lawful entity acting within the boundaries of the Constitution and conforming statutes.
One side in this is hurling epithets, one side is (and has been) hurling everything from baggies full of urine and feces to frozen bottles of water, rocks, bricks, and other inert missiles, Molotov cocktails, commercial fireworks (explosives), and accusations that those who have conducted themselves peaceably thus far are the problem. As for homeowners if this comes to your neighborhood, I hope your bug out bag was packed, and your are on your way, or standing behind a barricade to defend your neighborhood, shoulder to shoulder with your neighbors. That doesn't require violence, just the communication that you are willing to defend you and yours, with whatever means are necessary. Get in a first aid course or two if you aren't well versed. It might come in handy someday.
I believe we are also entering an era where the blatant ineptitude of this Administration's foreign policy apparatus will place our country under far more dire threats than false flag operations against the US Capitol, or bubbas in suburbia defending their neighborhoods against people from elsewhere come to wreck things.
We are entering a situation where it is likely that behaviour of foreign actors against the US may render comparisons to 9/11 and other genuine terrorist events appropriate, and I fully anticipate from surveying the SIGINT of anti-Conservative rhetoric building on the Left in media, and becoming ever more shrill, that any blame for the acts of foreign terrorists will be diverted to blame predominantly Conservative, (need I say it? light skinned, male), Christian, predominantly morally straight, law-abiding gun owners in order to make the tyranny the Left seems to dream of complete.
In the instance not enough Americans can be made into criminals otherwise through provocation, I expect the Administration to do its utmost to create new classes of criminals (who will do nothing different from last year) by changing laws, whether in accordance with the Constitution or not, and by generating an endless state of panic, using COVID or whatever means are available to further divide Americans into groups that can be set against one another.
Out of such comes chaos, out of chaos, crisis, and that is not to be wasted in the quest for totalitarian power.
