Journalist Suggests Porn for Children

Parents (and the whole of society) should take note of trending stories and their implications for the education of their children in the public school system. The Daily Wire reports on a controversial tweet shared by GQ contributor Flora Gill advocating for entry-level style porn for children.
Gill stated, “Someone needs to create porn for children.” She justified her assertion with the absurd assumption that presenting less aggressive, soft-core pornographic content would allow children to grow up with a better understanding of what consensual sex looks like. “Hear me out. Young teens are already watching porn but they’re finding hard-core, aggressive videos that give a terrible view of sex. They need entry-level porn! A softcore site where everyone asks for consent and no one gets choked.”
In response to the firestorm of comments her tweet elicited, Gill has since deleted her post and backpedaled, seeking to further explain her position. The journalist tried to clarify her original statement by describing the age of said children as “14/15/16-year-olds.” Yet again, she removed the follow-up comment from her Twitter page, stating she “was absolutely not getting swept into another Twitter cesspool” and urged followers to “take a deep breath.”
