Marco Rubio slams Biden for hypocrisy on immigration

Florida Republican criticized the administration for telling Cubans not to come to the United States while opening the southern border

On this week's "Life, Liberty & Levin," host Mark Levin discussed the ongoing unrest in Cuba with Florida Republican Sen. Marco Rubio, as civilians on the island 90 miles south of Key West demand basic rights and liberty while the dictatorial government of President Miguel Diaz-Canel continues to oppress his people while detaining and punishing demonstrators.

Rubio told Levin that he was troubled by the disparity in messaging from President Biden's Homeland Security department, particularly how Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas almost immediately announced to potential Cuban refugees that they should not cross the Caribbean Sea to seek asylum in America, while at the same time overseeing a rapidly deteriorating and porous southern border with Mexico.

"First of all, … I don't suggest anyone in Cuba take to the sea, OK? It's not the right thing to do," said Rubio.
