Schumer Brags As He And Biden Reshape The Federal Courts

Joe Biden and Senate Majority Leader and New York Senator Charles Schumer have conspired to remake the nation’s courts, and they are being successful.
In the first six months of the Biden administration eight federal judges have been confirmed, the first time that has happened in more than five decades, The Daily Wire reported.
By contrast, Presidents Donald Trump and George H.W. Bush had each appointed four in that time frame and Presidents George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan and Obama had not appointed any.
Trump did appoint 226 federal judges during his tenure with 54 of them going to the federal appeals court, but not at this breakneck speed.
“There has historically been this view of a certain path to a judgeship that can be over-representative of prosecutors or law-firm lawyers. … And so, we’ve focused on getting the message out to make sure that we’ve got talented, young members of the profession thinking, ‘Oh, I could be a judge,’ and expressing interest in being a judge. We’re talking about people who are civil rights litigators, public defenders or might have taken other nontraditional paths toward being a judge,” a Biden administration official said to Axios.
