Looking for a Word for Mitt Romney
By John Green

I’ve been searching for just the right adjective to use for Mitt Romney.  In the spirit of full disclosure, I must sadly confess that I voted for Mitt for President in 2012.  At the time, even a vote for a RINO was preferable to voting for someone openly calling for the destruction of everything America stands for -- that being Barack Hussein Obama.

But since 2018, Mitt has been on a divergent path from conservatism.  RINOs are despised by conservatives,  but the term doesn’t even come close to describing the awfulness of Mitt Romney for the movement.

Is Mitt Romney unprincipled?  Perhaps Romney is just another garden-variety politician that believes in nothing and stands for anything that will get fawning press coverage.  After all, he asked for Trump’s endorsement in his election bid, and then immediately began denouncing the Donald.  He even voted to impeach President Trump -- twice!  Spare me the excuse that he was “doing the right thing” and “voting his conscience.”  There’s this little thing called “evidence” that principled people consider before convicting someone -- even a President.  After all, we supposedly subscribe to the principle of “innocent until proven guilty” -- assuming one has principles.

LIBERAL.

He is not 'diverging' from Conservatism. He doesn't have a conservative bone in his body.

And yet conservatives could not wait to vote for him in 2012.

I doubt very many were enthusiastic about Romney. All I could see was his alternative.

I would have voted for Satan over Obama,  and it looks like I did just that.

Me either, best I could do was an oldie but I think it fits him quite well, Douche Bag.

douchebag (plural douchebags) (US, slang, vulgar) A jerk or bleep; a mean or rude person; someone seen as being arrogant, snobby or obnoxious. Synonym: douche.

Okay so maybe I can do it one, Douche!

Well, folks are offering nouns more than adjectives.  I have but one noun, which is fitting and dead on accurate.

"RINO".

Mitt personifies that term.
He represents its epitome.

Aside:
I remember when the powers-that-be in this forum (several times) requested that posters not use that term.
Do you...?

It is truly difficult to find a single word with which describe a person who is simultaneously: amoral, opportunistic, self-promoting, carpet-bagging, deceitful, disloyal, and insufferably smug.

But "a**hole" is a good start.
To hell with every single one of these bastards who are creating a moral permission slip for anarchists and other criminals and thugs to destroy our country as we know it.

Democrat
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

I will go so far here as to say that I think both Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney believe they are principled.  That does not mean they are principled, or even that they are right.  TDS is to blame.
